It was late night, I completed my project and left the office. It was dark every where and I couldn't see any human out there. I understood that it would be difficult to get a rickshaw and thus I started walking. I knew the fact that it was not safe and seems to be scary for a lady like me to walk alone by the footpath late at night. But unfortunately there was no other option and I had to put all my courage and decided to walk. Oh sorry I forgot to introduce me,

So where did I stop.....
okay so I started walking along the footpath. Even though I was tired and sleepy,I only thought of somehow reaching my hostel and hence I gradually increased my speed of walking. It was definitely scary since there were no street lights and I was all alone.
While I was moving forward, I saw a person coming towards me. I couldn't recognize him at first but as we came closer I could see his face. That was a familiar one.
OMG...!Thats Ashwin.
The most lovely man I ever met.
Well ...to describe how we met, I will have to take you all a year back.
Yes this incident happened a year back when I was about to complete my graduation. I got a marriage proposal from Ashwin and they came to my house to see me. That was a time when I strongly had a desire to earn a job and be financially independent.Its the dream of every girl to stand their own leg.I was not at all prepared for a wedding and wished to have some more time to live my life before getting married. At that point I didn't have enough courage to express my feelings to my parents. It was a common trend that parents would find a good guy for their daughter and fix her marriage as soon as she graduates and wish she would make a family. Bullshit.
My parents also had this in mind and I didn't want to hurt them by telling I was not ready for a marriage. I had no other choice than to meet Ashwin who came to see me. I explained him my situation. I asked Ashwin to say that he didn't like me so that the proposal was not taken forward. Honestly it was not because I didn't like him but I was not ready at that time. Ashwin being a gentleman understood my situation and helped me.
With these things wandering in my mind, I reached to him.
I leaned towards him, with a void mind, I have nothing to talk about. He's also looking surprised, And he's still the same guy.
"Why are you here?"
With a smile he replied
I got a transfer and I joined last week.
I talked to him for more than half an hour, he seemed to be surprised to see a person that he believed, he would never meet in life.
I left him and pursued my walk.But my smile didn't leave my shy face.
I reached my room and laid on my bed. My mind had only been carrying his thoughts. Maybe I'm attracted to him or I'm in love.
Suddenly my phone notified me of a text.
"Is it him..!" I Doubt
Omg ... From Where did he get my number! I wonder.
"Happy to see you", he said
From where did you get my number?. I asked.
From last year's visit," he said in reply and rushed in to invite me for a meet.
"Coffee with me.?, Tomorrow...?"
It made me stun and numb. I know I would agree that.
Bt my shyness didn't allow me to do that.
I replied, Maybe,
Maybe not...
From this, he may have got the entire meaning and
he replied 😊😊
